Advancing the next generation of climate leaders, ZEIC’s Women4Climate (W4C) program trains and mentors emerging leaders across Metro Vancouver at all stages of their careers, providing the tools and resources necessary for developing climate solutions.
Originally a global C40 initiative, the W4C program is now proudly led by ZEIC, empowering local women pursuing climate action solutions across sectors and industries in the Metro Vancouver region to step into leadership roles. With the successful history of the program, ZEIC’s W4C is building on a legacy of achievements and collaboration with a strong network of climate leaders.
Women are among the groups most impacted by climate change, yet their voices remain underrepresented in decision-making on climate issues. The W4C program seeks to change this by bridging the gap and amplifying women’s voices in these critical spaces. Diverse representation is essential to crafting climate solutions that reflect a wide range of experiences and perspectives, driving progress that benefits everyone.
